Link mode:
Choose game or solo mode then press Left, Left or Right, Right.

Hidden songs:
Choose game or solo mode. Play three songs to unlock a hidden song. Next, play two different songs in a different order, then play the secret song as the third song. Try again if this does not work the first time. The secret songs will be highlighted in green and will be marked "NEW!" All of your songs must have a Grade B or higher. When you get all the songs you will have twenty hidden songs. The following are all the secret songs you should have: These songs are in alphabetical order and not in order that they are unlocked.

Emi without a hat:
Highlight game mode, solo mode or workout mode at the mode select screen. Then, hold Right and press X. During the game Emi will appear without a hat.

Play edit mode in arcades:
Play the game edit mode, create steps for a song and save it on a memory card. Bring your memory card to an arcade. You will notice that the arcade versions of Dance Dance Revolution 4th Mix and Dance Dance Revolution 5th Mix have a memory card slot on the machines. Insert your memory card in the machine and choose "Edit Mode" or "Edit Data". Select your edit songs to play them on the machine.
