Tactics:
Hide, look, and listen. Find a safe place and give things the hairy eyeball. Everything you need to know will be on display before you jump into the fire.

Read signs. All of 'em.

Go slow. Practice your moves. Learn to jump off the run, and learn to run into a roll.

Unless you have to run, sneaking is ALWAYS a good idea.

Shadows are your friend. Stand still!

You're a bottom-dweller on Oddworld, so get used to being on the ground. Crouching and rolling will save your hide. You'll skid when trying to turn on the run, but you'll turn on a dime if you're rolling. Crouching will also save you from being knocked down by distant explosions. Sometimes the best way to aim a thrown rock or grenade is to toss it from a crouch.

Save time by Group Speaking multiple Mudokons at once.

Use possessed farts to scout ahead.

Mudokons are moody. Hugs are nice when they're depressed. Slap 'em when they're loopy.
