The Cloudy/Celestrial Mirror:
To acquire the Cloudy Mirror, you must go to Remiem Temple
in the Calm Lands. Talk to the chocobo on the right-hand
side to race on the spiraling track under the temple.
If you win the race, you will receive the Cloudy Mirror.
To acquire the Celestrial Mirror, you must take the Cloudy
Mirror to Macalania Woods. Talk to the mother and son
standing near the save sphere in Macalania Woods, south.
The mother will mention that her husband is suppose to
meet her. Then go to Macalania woods campsite and talk
to the man to the right, who is her husband. Tell him
where his wife and son are and return to Macalania Woods,
south. Talk to the husband, the wife, and the son first
before heading up the mysterious path near the save sphere.
At the intersection, head north until you see a boy standing
in front of a large sphere crystal. Talk to the boy and
use the Cloudy Mirror on the crystal. The Cloudy Mirror
will change into the Celestrial Mirror.
Free Potions:
When you get on the boat in the beginning of the game,
after Yuna joins your party, you should be allowed to
roam the ship. Head downstairs. To the left of the hallway
there is a door that leads to a room where there should
be a seasick sailor and I believe a guy talking about
clothes. There should be a suitcase there that looks like
Yuna's. If you keep pressing X, Tidus kicks it and you
get a potion. I believe there are at least 15, so keep
kicking it.
Best Way to Get Overdrive Status:
Get haste on one of your characters and use the warrior
gauge fill technique; then cast haste and keep hitting
the enemy.
How to Get Overdrives:
Tidus - Sword Skill:
Spiral Cut - single enemy damage
Charge & Assault - 6 attacks at random enemies
Energy Rain - damage all enemies
Ace of the Blitz - single enemy 8+1 attacks
- Activated by stopping the moving cursor
in the white area at the center of the overdrive bar.
- New overdrives are learned after Tidus uses his overdrives
a certain number of times.
- Which overdrive he uses does not matter, and failed
overdrive activations still count as an overdrive usage.
10 times - learn Charge & Assault
20 more times - learn Energy Rain
50 more times - learn Ace of the Blitz
Yuna - Master Summon:
Summons any Aeon with filled overdrive gauge. After the
Aeon uses its overdrive once, its overdrive gauge returns
to the previous level of fullness.
Wakka - Slot:

Attack Reel - consecutive attack slots are turned
Status Reel - status attack slots are turned

a stronger overdrive attack.

Lulu - Temptation:
- Activated by rotating the right stick clockwise as much
as possible in the limited time to increase the number
of magic attacks.
- Number of attacks are gained easily at first, but the
more the number, the harder it is to increase.
- As Lulu's magic attack status gets stronger, the increasing
of overdrive numbers gets easier.
Auron - Secret Legendary Teachings:
Tooth Dragon [down, left, up, right, L1, R1,
X, O] - damages all enemies
Shooting Star [triangle, X, square, O, left, right, O]
